CLEMSON, S.C. - The Boston University women's rowing team recorded two fourth-place results and a fifth-place finish Saturday morning, as it concluded its Spring Break trip with the Clemson Regatta.
Coxed by senior Kayla Rivers and stroked by sophomore Mackenzie Wiler, the Terriers' varsity eight boat placed fifth overall with a time of 7:01.30, finishing ahead of Purdue and Marist. No. 16 Clemson won the race in a dead heat against Indiana at 6:46.21.
In the second race of the day, the Terriers' 2V8 crew took fourth at 7:05.56 with Indiana and Purdue left behind.
The novice eight boat placed seventh at 7:38.08 before the 2N8 boat finished fourth at 7:56.13 to end the the first event of the year.
BU will return home and next host the Beanpot on the Charles River on Saturday, March 24.
