BOSTON – Paced by sophomore Monica Adler’s victory in the mile run, the Boston University women’s track & field team finished sixth at the ECAC Championships this past weekend at the Reggie Lewis Center.

Adler completed the race with a time of 4:46.06. She was not the only Terrier to place in an event during the weekend, as senior Shelby Walton earned two top-5 finishes. She secured second-place in the 60m dash (7.56) and fifth in the 200m dash (24.35).

Junior Allison Barwise also turned in a second-place finish, as she posted a mark of 1.83m in the high jump. Junior Nikko Brady also placed, as she finished sixth in the 60m hurdles.

Senior Kathleen Davies and sophomore Chelsea Curry also competed for the Terriers in preliminary events. Davies participated in the mile run, while Curry competed in the weight throw.
