After leading the Terriers to the America East Softball Championship, sophomore Holli Floetker has been named GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Floetker was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament after going 2-0 in the circle and led the top-seeded Terriers to victories over No. 4 Maine and No. 3 Albany en route to capturing the conference crown. The right-handed hurler allowed nine hits and two runs in 14.0 innings of work while fanning 10 batters. She posted a 1.29 ERA in the America East Tournament and threw her sixth shutout of the season in BU’s 5-0 win over Albany in the championship game.

The Fountain Valley, Calif., native was named to the America East All-Conference Second Team. She leads BU with a 19-3 record and 1.75 ERA, while striking out 143 batters in 164.2 innings pitched.
