The Boston University track and field teams each competed at a make-up meet on Thursday at the BU Track and Tennis Center for the Valentine Invitational that was canceled this past weekend.
The brief meet also featured teams from Boston College, Brown, Dartmouth, Harvard, Northeastern and Providence.
On the men's side, graduate student Zachary Ray matched his season-best time of 7.98 seconds in the 60m hurdles to claim first place, while senior Sam Wuest was first with a height of 2.04m in the high jump. Junior Connor Sullivan was second in the high jump with a mark of 2.00m.
The women's team also had a pair of first-place performances, including senior Nikko Brady's time of 8.78 seconds in the 60m hurdles. Senior Allison Barwise also had a victory with a mark of 1.80m in the high jump.
Other top finishes included a second-place showing by junior Sarah Dillard in the ahot put (12.78m) and a third-place showing by Gemma Acheampong in the 200m dash (25.03). Freshman Jade Paul also had a season-best time of 57.25 seconds to place third in the 400m dash.
BU will next be in action on Sunday at the USATF New England Open Championships, held at Harvard.
