LOWELL, Mass. - The Boston University women's track & field team competed at the George Davis Invitational on Saturday hosted by UMass Lowell at the Cushing Field Complex.

BU combined for 14 top-10 finishes and had two different athletes with a trio of top-10 performances. Senior Allison Barwise won the long jump (6.07m), was fourth in the 200m dash (26.18), secured sixth in the shot put (10.87m). Classmate Sarah Dillard took third in the shot put (12.40m) and was also third in the discus (38.12m) and the hammer throw (40.17m).

Sophomore Catherine Sampson was ninth in the shot put (10.40m) while freshman Erika Treske (10.04m) also competed in that event. Freshman Catherine Yu (33.49m) was seventh in the discus while sophomore Demi McEntee took seventh in the javelin with a throw of 35.10 meters.

Freshman Adrienne Pascucci finished fifth in the high jump (1.55m) and also competed in the 200m dash (28.61) and shot put (8.45m). Sophomore Alexandra Fox (1.50m) placed seventh and Treske (1.45m) was 12th in the high jump.

Freshman Tina Romak finished fifth in the 800m run with a time of 2:23.42 while sophomore Rachel Lotterman (4:48.44) and freshman Sydney Lagueux (4:51.32) were fifth and seventh, respectively, in the 1,500m run. Freshman Colleen Tretheway (5:10.92) also competed in the 1,500m run.

BU will be back in action next week when the Terriers compete at the Holy Cross Decathlon (April 16-17) and the Sean Collier Invitational at MIT.
