EASTON, Mass. – The Boston University women’s track & field team finished fourth at the Skyhawk Invitational hosted by Stonehill on Friday night.

The Terriers tallied 83 points thanks to three victories and 10 top-five finishes. Stonehill claimed first with a total of 142 points.

Junior Ashli Tagoai was victorious in the 1,500m run with a personal-best time of 4:36.53. Freshman Sydney Lagueux (4:47.24) was ninth while classmate Colleen Tretheway (5:07.41) also raced in that event. Junior Victoria Perez secured second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.48.

Freshman Djenne Parris (25.58) and senior Janet Mellor (25.82) were the top two finishers in the 200m dash, with sophomore Talia Flores (26.37) and freshman Kerri Graber (26.47) securing seventh and eighth, respectively. Graber (59.11) also finished fourth in the 400m dash while sophomore Jade Paul placed fourth in the 800m run. Flores (12.85) finished sixth in the 100m dash, freshman Adrienne Pascucci (16.39) competed in the 100m hurdles and freshman Tina Romak (2:21.18) raced in the 800m run.

Senior Sarah Dillard won the discus (38.90m) and also took third in the hammer throw with a mark of 44.16 meters. Sophomore Demi McEntee was third in the javelin (34.34m) while freshmen Natalie Grabowski (3.20m) and Sarah Kert (3.05m) finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the pole vault. Their classmate, Catherine Yu, placed 10th in the discus while Pascucci (1.51m) and sophomore Alexandra Fox (1.46m) were seventh and ninth, respectively, in the high jump.

BU will be back in action next weekend as the Terriers look to complete a sweep of Patriot League titles when they compete in the conference championships. They have already claimed the women's cross country crown as well as the indoor track & field title in their inaugural season in the Patriot League.
