CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Boston University men’s lacrosse team’s home game against Duke on May 8 will be nationally televised on the CBS Sports Network, the Patriot League announced on Monday.

This will be the first time in program history that the Terriers will host a nationally televised game at Nickerson Field. BU made its national TV debut last season at Navy in a game also broadcast on the CBS Sports Network.

The Terriers have played Duke in each of their first two varsity seasons, hosting the Blue Devils in 2014. BU has kept it close with the Blue Devils each year, including taking a tie score into halftime at Duke last season. The Blue Devils were ranked third in Inside Lacrosse’s preseason poll.

BU boasts three preseason All-Americans – Christian Carson-Banister, Cal Dearth and Sam Talkow - as selected by Inside Lacrosse, and will bring back 37 players from last year’s squad that went 6-8, tripling the Terriers’ win total from the previous year.
