JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Junior Toria Levy of the Boston University women's track & field team advanced to the quarterfinal round of the 400m hurdles at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Championships hosted by the University of North Florida.

Competing in the first track event of the day, Levy set a new personal best with a time of 57.05 seconds. Her time was the eighth fastest of the afternoon and was the top time of any runner that did not automatically advance to the quarterfinals. The top three times in each of the six heats, plus the next six times, qualified for Friday.

Levy will look to punch her ticket to the NCAA Championships on Friday night at approximately 7:45 p.m.
