400m Hurdles Results

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Junior Toria Levy of the Boston University women's track & field team competed in the quarterfinal round of the 400m hurdles at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Preliminary Championships hosted by the University of North Florida.

Levy, who had achieved a personal-best time of 57.05 seconds in Thursday's prelims, was edged for a spot in the semifinals at Eugene, Oregon. Her time of 57.08 seconds was fourth fastest in her heat.

Friday's race capped a terrific outdoor season for Levy. In addition to her success at the East prelims, she was a two-time Patriot League champion, including a conference-record time of 54.41 seconds in the 400m dash.
