  • After holding Loyola off the scoreboard for nearly six minutes, BU pulled within single digits for the first time at 6:20 (62-53) and later cut an 11-point deficit to four at 43s (69-65) on a 3-point play by senior Eric Fanning.
  • The Greyhounds though hit two free throws in response and forced a BU turnover to create enough distance.
  • Loyola went a perfect 6-of-6 at the line in the final 25 seconds to seal the victory.
