BOSTON – Riding a two-game win streak, the Boston University men's basketball team will start a four-game road trip at former America East rival New Hampshire on Wendesday with the ESPN3 broadcast set to begin at 7 p.m.

Fans though are warned the game could potentially start later, as the UNH women will be hosting Colby-Sawyer at 5 p.m. There will at least be a 30-minute gap between the end of the first game and start of the second game.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • The Terriers' first five scheduled Division I opponents this season are former conference opponents with four from the America East (Northeastern, Albany, Maine and UNH) and UConn from the Yankee Conference during the 1970s.
  • Head coach Joe Jones has used the same starting lineup for the first five games, marking the second-longest season-opening streak in seven years at BU ... He opened in 2013 with the same lineup over seven games.
  • BU has already had 11 of the 13 men on the roster reach double figures this year ... Every Terrier has hit the mark at least once in his career, including the four freshmen.
  • Javante McCoy (9.4 ppg) became the first BU rookie to reach double figures with 15 pts. vs. Albany ... Walter Whyte (8.2 ppg) later scored 12 pts. at Maine ... Andrew Petcash (5.0 ppg) and Sukhmail Mathon (3.4 ppg) combined for 28 points vs. Wheaton on Sunday.
  • Senior Nick Havener is averaging a team-high 12.0 ppg and 6.4 rpg ... He is on track to become the first Terrier since John Holland ('11) in 2009 to lead BU in scoring and rebounding.
  • Senior Cedric Hankerson is the other Terrier averaging double figures at 11.2 ppg ... He has hit a team-high 14 3-pointers and currently ranks fifth in career 3-pointers (200) and 30th in points (1,033) at BU.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
  • The Wildcats have lost their last five games, including a hard-fought 70-63 decision at then-No. 8 Florida, and are 1-1 at home with a 95-39 win over Wheelock and 74-70 loss to Patriot League member American.
  • UNH went 20-12 last with an 11-4 record at home, highlighted by wins over Holy Cross and Albany.
  • Tanner Leissner is averaging a team-high 18.8 ppg and 7.8 rpg while Iba Camara is nearly averaging a double-double at 11.2 ppg and 9.8 rpg.
  • Jacoby Armstrong is the third Wildcat in double figures at 10.0 ppg.
  • UNH is averaging 69.2 ppg and 39.7 FG% while holding opponents to 69.3 ppg and 40.2 FG%.
  • The Wildcats are also limiting teams to just 29.7 percent from behind the arc while owning a slight advantage in rebounds per game, 38.5-37.2.

SERIES HISTORY

  • The Terriers are 98-39 all-time against UNH in a series that dates back to 1908-09 and are 5-2 under head coach Joe Jones following back-to-back four-point home victories.
  • In last year's 73-69 home win, BU extended a 38-31 halftime lead to as high as 11 (44-33) at 18:19 before UNH rallied to cut the deficit to 48-47 at 12:54 ... The Wildcats eventually took the lead at 1:31 (69-68) on a pair of free throws, but Hankerson hit a 3-pointer to give BU the lead for good ... UNH went 0-of-2 and had a turnover during the final 70 seconds.
  • The Wildcats had three players earn a double-double in the loss ... Three years ago at UNH, Cedric Hankerson earned his lone double-double (26 pts., 10 rebs.), but the Wildcats prevailed, 75-68, as BU shot 36.5 FG%.
