BOSTON – Resuming non-conference play, the Boston University softball team will travel to UMass on Thursday with the first pitch of the doubleheader slated for 2 p.m. The two teams were originally scheduled to play in Boston, but the contests were moved to Amherst due to the extensive rainfall in the area.

TERRIER TIDBITS

  • Looking to snap a six-game losing streak, the Terriers are 4-7 this season in true road games with an impressive 3-1 win at then-No. 23 Florida Atlantic and 5-4 victory at defending Big West champion Cal State Fullerton.

  • Senior Moriah Connolly leads the Terriers in hitting with a .369 batting average and 26 runs scored ... She batted .444 at Lehigh with five of her 23 stolen bases and just needs two more swiped bags to become the first in PL history to reach 100.
