LEXINGTON, KY - Senior
Toria Levy of the Boston University women's track & field team advanced to the NCAA Championship for the first time after finishing sixth in the 400-meter hurdles NCAA Quarterfinals on Friday.

Levy was one of 12 qualifiers to come out of the East after setting a new personal-best time of 56.66. She opened the event on Thursday in the preliminaries by finishing seventh with a time of 58.04 to reach Friday's quarterfinals. The Weston, Fla., native will conclude her senior season at the NCAA Championships on June 7-10 in Eugene, Oregon.

She also competed in the the women's 4x400 relay, alongside senior
Djenne Parris, freshman
Leah Fowlkes and junior
Ayodele Adesanya. On Saturday night, the foursome finished with a time of 3:37.48, and in 14th place, behind the 12th and final qualifying time of 3:36.59 set by Cincinnati. The Terriers' 4x400 relay team earned its spot in Lexington thanks to a school-record breaking time of 3:34.30 at the Penn Relays on April 28.
