BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Boston University men's and women's track & field teams will compete at the Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championships this Friday and Saturday at Lehigh University's Goodman Campus.

Friday's competition begins at 9 a.m. with the men's 10,000 meter run and concludes with the women's 200 meter dash semifinal. Saturday's action starts with the men's high jump at 10 a.m. and concludes with the women's 4x400 meter relay at 5:25 p.m.

WOMEN'S TRACK & FIELD
­
• On the women's side, the Terriers will once again battle for the PL title with rival Bucknell. BU finished second to the Bison this past February at the indoor championships, winning gold in six events. The Terriers also finished second to the Bison at last year's outdoor championships.
 
• The Terriers will be led by senior Toria Levy, who won four events at the 2017 indoor championships (60m hurdles, 200m dash, 500m dash and 400m hurdles) and was named Patriot League Female Track Athlete of the Meet. At last year's outdoor championships, Levy broke the Patriot League Championship record in the 400m dash with a personal-best time of 54.41 and also won the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.90 seconds.
 
• BU will look for another big performance in the field from sophomore Lovie Burleson, who was named Female Field Athlete of the Meet at this year's indoor championships after winning the long jump and the triple jump. She is also the defending outdoor triple jump champion.
 
• The Terriers enter the championship meet with the top individual time or mark in six events. Levy (100m hurdles and 400m hurdles), Burleson (triple Jump), Leah Fowlkes (400m dash) and the 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams are all the top Patriot League seeds.

MEN'S TRACK & FIELD

• On the men's side, the Terriers will look to improve upon their performance at the indoor championships where they finished third behind Navy and Army. BU also finished third at last year's outdoor championships behind Navy and Army. 
 
• The Terriers will be led once again by All-American senior Cameron Williams, who was named Male Track Athlete of the Meet at last year's outdoor championships after he set a new school and conference record in the 200m dash (20.56).
 
• In the field, All-American senior David Oluwadara enters the championship with the top mark in the triple jump (16.19m) and will look to defend his outdoor title in the event.
 
• In all, the BU men enter the championship meet with the top time or mark in six events. Williams (200m), Oluwadara (triple jump), Alexander Seal (1500m run), Paul Luevano (5000m run), Jamin Harris (400m hurdles) and the 4x100m relay team all have top times or marks. In addition, senior Ethan Homan enters the meet with the second-best time of in the 1500m run behind only Seal.
