BOSTON – The Boston University women's track & field team continued its indoor season by hosting the Multi-Team Meet on Thursday at the Track and Tennis Center, taking on UMass Lowell, Sacred Heart and Boston College.
 
The Terriers had several impressive performances on the day. Freshman Cecelia Gerstenbacher got the new year off on the right foot by winning the 300m dash with a time of 39.86 while sophomore Leah Fowlkes won the 200m dash with a time of 24.77.

Notable Performances

• Senior Tehya Noell finished first in the 60m dash with a time of 7.74.
• Sophomore Leah Fowlkes won the 200m dash with a time of 24.77 while junior Jordan Coverson finished second in 25.34.
• Freshman Cecelia Gerstenbacher won the 300m dash with a time of 39.86 while freshman Mikajah Hayes finished third in 40.51.
• Junior Courtney Breiner finished second in the 1000m run with a time of 2:57.68.
• In the field, junior Lovie Burleson won the long jump with a jump of 5.76 meters (18' 10.75").
