The Boston University women's ice hockey team will host a pair of league foes this weekend when UConn and No. 10 Maine visit Walter Brown Arena during Family & Friends Weekend at BU. The Terriers and Huskies will face off on Friday at 7 p.m., before the Black Bears come to Comm. Ave. on Saturday at 4 p.m.
Fans at Friday's game will receive free pizza while supplies last, while Saturday will be Military Appreciation Day.
BATTLE OF THE FIRST PLACE SQUADS
- Friday's fixture between BU and UConn features the top two teams in the Hockey East standings entering the weekend.
- Both teams enter tonight with four points, as UConn is 2-1-0 while the Terriers are 1-1-2.

- BU owns a 24-11-6 all-time record against UConn, including a 13-6-2 mark at Walter Brown Arena.

QUARTERFINAL REMATCH
- The Terriers and Maine will face off for the first time since last year's Hockey East quarterfinal series in Orono.
- Maine won the best-of-three series in the third in final game on Feb. 25, 4-3, with an overtime goal.
- BU battled back from a 3-2 loss in game one to pick up a 4-1 win in game two.
HISTORY WITH MAINE
- BU is 27-13-2 all-time against Maine, including a 13-5-0 mark at Walter Brown Arena.
- The Terriers were swept by Maine in the regular-season series for the first time ever last season, though the Terriers were missing their entire top line for the two tilts at Walter Brown on Jan. 6 and 7.
- Saturday will be the first time BU has hosted Maine in October since Oct. 26, 2012, when the Terriers earned a 4-2 win over the Black Bears.

- The Terriers' top line of redshirt junior Sammy Davis, sophomore Jesse Compher and freshman Courtney Correia was responsible for all three Terrier goals in the 3-2 win over UNH.
- Compher had the primary helper on both of Davis' markers before scoring an unassisted shorthanded goal, while Correia collected the secondary assist on the pair of first-period strikes.
- Compher (2g, 3a), Davis (3g, 1a) and Correia (3a) are the top three point producers for BU this season, combining for 12 of the Terriers' 19 points and five of the team's eight total goals.
