BOSTON – Continuing a six-game road trip, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit former America East rival New Hampshire on Wednesday night with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU is 1-1 against the America East this season with a 71-61 win at Albany and 78-72 loss to preseason favorite Vermont ... The Terriers will have one more game remaining, a Dec. 4 contest at Case Gym against UMass Lowell.
  • Junior Max Mahoney leads the Terriers in scoring at 14.3 ppg and ranks 36th nationally in field goal shooting percentage (.627) ... Both junior Tyler Scanlon (12.5 ppg) and sophomore Javante McCoy (11.4 ppg) are also averaging double figures in scoring.
  • All three men are the top three rebounders at a combined 13.9 rpg with Scanlon and McCoy also averaging a combined 7.0 apg ... McCoy ranks 55th nationally in assist-turnover ratio at 3.00.
  • BU ranks 36th in holding opponents to 28.1 percent from behind the arc ... The Terriers are shooting 33.1 3FG% and are 0-4 this season when finishing a game with fewer 3-pointers.
  • BU has outscored opponents from the bench in all seven games ... Freshmen Jack Hemphill, Jordan Guest and Fletcher Tynen are the top three scorers off the bench at 17.9 ppg.
  • Opponents edge the Terriers in scoring margin, 70.0-69.6, despite BU posting a higher field goal shooting percentage (46.7-42.1), by averaging 6.4 more free throws a game.
SCOUTING NEW HAMPSHIRE
  • The Wildcats are 2-1 at home with a pair of non-Division I wins over Rivier (108-54) and Mount Saint Vincent (100-61) with a tightly-contested 69-63 loss to Quinnipiac.
  • UNH is 0-1 against the Patriot League this year, dropping a 68-44 decision at American back on Nov. 16.
  • UNH has three men averaging double figures in Jordan Reed (11.2 ppg), Elijah Jordan (11.0 ppg) and Josh Hopkins (10.0 ppg).
  • Jayden Martinez (9.3 ppg) leads the team in rebounding at 6.3 rpg with Chris Lester (5.8 ppg) close behind at 5.3 rpg.
  • The Wildcats are averaging 76.0 ppg and 41.8 FG% while holding opponents to 74.5 ppg and 45.6 FG%.
  • UNH is averaging six more points per game off turnovers, but opponents are earning the same margin from the free throw line.
SERIES HISTORY
  • The Terriers are 99-39 all-time against UNH in a series that dates back to 1908-09 and are 6-2 under head coach Joe Jones following last year's 70-69 win in Durham, New Hampshire.
  • BU led, 38-26, at the half and later, 65-58, with 4:39 remaining in regulation ... The Terriers though went 3-of-14 from the charity stripe, and UNH rallied to tie the game on a putback at 11 seconds.
  • McCoy broke the deadlock by driving to the hoop, drawing a foul and hitting a free throw with 2.6 seconds left.
