BOSTON – After honoring seniors

Eric Johnson, the Boston University men's basketball team fell to Navy, 62-48, on Saturday afternoon at Case Gym.
Winning their sixth-straight road conference game, the Midshipmen (19-10, 10-6 PL) held the Terriers (12-15, 8-8 PL) to 33.3 percent shooting in the second half, as the teams finished with a split for the third consecutive year.
TURNING POINT
- BU battled back from an 11-point deficit late in the first half to take a 33-32 lead early in the second stanza.
- That was the Terriers' last lead, however, as Navy went on a 24-10 run to grab a 54-43 lead with 7:17 left remaining in regulation.
- Navy ultimately went on a 30-15 run over the final 16:32 to close out the contest.
THE SETUP
- The Terriers led by four, 16-12, halfway through the opening half, with Hankerson scoring 10 of the team's 16 points.
- Navy then went on an 18-3 run to create a 30-19 advantage with less than 2:30 to play in the half.
- BU ended the half on a 7-1 run of its own thanks to 3-pointers from Goff and sophomore Tyler Scanlon.
- That Terriers carried that momentum out of the break as they began the second half on another 7-1 run to take a 33-32 lead on a Kamali Chambers three.
GAME NOTES
- Hankerson led the Terriers in scoring with 11 points, while sophomore Max Mahoney recorded 10 points.
- Scanlon posted a game-high eight rebounds to go along with eight points, two assists and two steals.
- The Terriers got 26 points from their bench to just 14 off the Navy bench.
- The Midshipmen though outscored BU off turnovers (16-6) and in the paint (30-20).
- Hasan Abdullah (13 pts.) and Shawn Anderson (13 pts.) were two of five Mids to reach double figures.
- Mo Lewis (12 pts.) had eight rebounds to help Navy out-rebound the Terriers, 34-27.

- The Terriers will remain at Case Gym to host the Leopards on Wednesday (Feb. 21) at 7 p.m.
- BU rallied from a 16-point deficit to claim a 75-72 win at Lafayette on Jan. 24.
