EASTON, Pa. - Senior 
Jack Wilson scored his 100th career goal and became the program's all-time points leader as part of the Boston University men's lacrosse team's 12-8 victory at Lafayette on Saturday afternoon at Fisher Stadium.
WILSON REWRITES THE RECORD BOOK
	- Wilson became the first player in program history to score 100 career goals thanks to his second goal of the game.
- He then became the program's all-time points leader with his next goal, which was his 154th career point.
- Wilson, who extended his point streak to 53 games, now has 154 points thanks to 101 goals and 53 assists.
- During his point streak, Wilson has notched 93 goals and 52 assists for 145 points.
- Wilson has tallied 22 goals and eight assists for 30 points this year.
- He has notched five hat tricks and has found the back of the net in each of the last nine contests.
HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Wilson opened the scoring just 2:28 into the game, but Lafayette scored the next two goals to take a 2-1 lead with 4:09 left in the opening quarter.
- Freshman Chris Gray tied the game, 2-2, with 3:11 left in the frame when he came from around X and cut to the top of the crease before finding the back of the net.
- Lafayette grabbed a 3-2 lead to start the second quarter, but BU scored the next four goals to give itself some distance from the Leopards.
- Senior Hayden Ruiz assisted on the first two goals of that run, finding both Wilson and sophomore John MacLean.
- Gray then assisted on the next two tallies by Wilson and junior James Burr, with Lafayette adding a late goal to cut the Terrier lead to 6-4 at halftime.
- The teams traded goals to start the third quarter, with Ruiz scoring for BU.
- BU extended the lead to 9-5 entering the fourth quarter thanks to markers by Gray and MacLean.
- Ruiz notched his second goal of the game just 44 seconds into the final frame to make it 10-5, but Lafayette responded with two quick tallies to cut the deficit to 10-7 with 11:34 left to play.
- MacLean and Burr both found the back of the net to regain a five-goal edge, with Lafayette responding to cut the deficit to 12-8.
- The Leopards had a late man-up chance, but sophomore Joe McSorley made two of his 13 stops and the Terriers cleared to ice the game.
HAYDEN HAS A CAREER AFTERNOON
	- Ruiz matched his career highs in goals (2), assists (2) and points (4) on Saturday.
- His last four-point outing came in last year's season-opening victory at Providence.
- Ruiz has notched nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points this year.
ANOTHER TERRIFIC DAY FOR GRAY
	- For the sixth time this season, Gray recorded at least five points thanks to two goals and three assists on Saturday.
- He finished the week with 15 points (4g, 11a) after his monster night at Harvard on Tuesday.
- Gray leads the Terriers with 46 points thanks to 18 goals and a team-high 28 assists.
GLENDINNING GREAT FOR THE TERRIERS
	- Freshman Malcolm Glendinning had one the best games of his brief collegiate career on Saturday.
- He collected a career-best six ground balls and also caused one turnover.
- He twice gathered three ground balls, with the most recent effort coming at Bucknell on March 17.
- Glendinning has started all 10 games at close defense, securing 19 ground balls and six caused turnovers.
GAME NOTES
	- Freshman Sean Christman went 14-of-23 at the faceoff X with seven ground balls. He took every draw for the first time in his career.
- MacLean recorded his fourth hat trick of the season and now has 18 goals on the year.
- McSorley made at least 10 saves for the eighth time this year in addition to gathering three ground balls and causing one turnover.
- He finished the week with 27 saves after his career-high 14 stops at Harvard on Tuesday.
- Junior Thomas Schmidt recorded a career-high five ground balls, his second straight career performance in that category.
- Schmidt notched two ground balls at Harvard on Tuesday.
- Junior Christopher Lappin collected a career-best three ground balls and also forced a turnover.
- Nine of the Terriers' 10 starters recorded at least one ground ball, with seven of them earning at least two ground balls.
- The Terriers are a perfect 5-0 all-time against Lafayette.
NEXT UP: LAX-A-PALOOZA VS. LEHIGH
	- The Terriers will host Lehigh as part of the third annual Lax-A-Palooza on Saturday, March 31, at Nickerson Field.
- That contest will start at 3:30 as the second game of a doubleheader, with the women's team hosting Loyola Maryland at 12 p.m.
