BOSTON - Returning to the confines of Case Gym for the first time in nearly three weeks, the Boston University women's basketball team could not keep up with Harvard, falling 66-39 on Tuesday night.

How It Happened
  • Nia Irving netted the first four points before a Riley Childs layup with 2:46 left in the first cut an early deficit to 8-6.
  • The Terriers struggled from the floor in the second quarter, as Maggie Pina and Katie Nelson accounted for the lone four points of the frame.
  • Harvard used a 12-0 run to close the first half, entering the break with a 26-14 lead.
  • BU remained cold, connecting on just 3-of-18 in the third while Harvard staked a 49-22 advantage heading into the final quarter.
  • Pina was a bright spot for the Terriers in the second half, leading the team with 10 points.
Game Notes
  • Pina posted a season-high 12 points, leading the Terriers in scoring for the first time this season.
  • Liz Shean made her collegiate debut, finishing with two points and one steal.
