BOSTON – Coming off a six-game road trip, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Ivy League foe Dartmouth on Saturday with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU is 2-1 at home with an 84-70 win over New Hampshire, 91-63 victory against SUNY Poly and 72-67 loss defending to CAA champion Northeastern.
  • Senior Max Mahoney is the now the team leader in points at 14.3 ppg after he tallied a career-high 38 points in Saturday's 84-79 overtime loss at Binghamton.
  • Mahoney (7.5 rpg) added 13 rebounds for his 10th career double-double, while junior Sukhmail Mathon had a personal-best 15 points and 12 boards for his first career double-double.
  • Sophomore Walter Whyte (12.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg) had 10 rebounds in the same contest, marking the first time in at least 20 years that BU had three double with double-digit rebounds.
  • Junior Javante McCoy (8.7 ppg) leads BU in assists at 2.6 apg with sophomore Alex Vilarino (8.2 ppg) close behind at 2.2 apg.

  • Dartmouth went 2-1 at the River Hawk Invitational with wins over Merrimack (55-46) and host UMass Lowell (80-75 OT) along with a loss to Jacksonville (57-37).
  • 6-foot-7 forward Chris Knight (12.3 ppg, 5.5 rpg), 6-foot-6 wing Aaryn Rai (10.5 ppg, 6.2 rpg) and 6-foot-4 guard James Foye (10.4 ppg, 3.3 rpg) are all averaging double figures.
  • Highlighted by a 68-63 win at Buffalo, Dartmouth is averaging 67.3 ppg and 45.2 FG% while holding opponents to 61.5 ppg and 39.5 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY             
  • The Terriers are hosting Dartmouth for the first time since claiming a 79-58 win in 2001.
  • Dartmouth leads the all-time series, 22-7, with the first matchup taking place in 1924-25.
