BOSTON – With two non-conference games remaining in the regular season, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit UMass Lowell on Saturday with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- Following last weekend's 78-76 win over Dartmouth, the Terriers are 3-1 at home compared to the 1-6 road mark.
- BU is 1-2 against the America East this year with 84-70 home win against New Hampshire and losses at both Binghamton (84-79 OT) and defending champion Vermont (62-47).
- Senior Max Mahoney is averaging a team-high 14.5 ppg and 7.4 rpg while shooting 57.5 percent from the field ... Sophomore Walter Whyte is next in boh categories at 12.9 ppg and 6.2 ppg after the duo combined for 33 points and 12 rebounds against the Big Green.
- Junior Javante McCoy (9.2 ppg) leads BU in assists at 3.1 apg after dishing out a career-high eight assists last Saturday against just one turnover.
- The Terriers had all five starters reach double figures for the first time this season against Dartmouth with sophomores Alex Vilarino (8.4 ppg) and Jonas Harper (7.6 ppg) combining for 22 points.

- Coming off a 72-66 win at NJIT, the River Hawks are 4-4 at home this year with notable wins against Brown (75-63), Central Connecticut State (73-71) and St. Francis Brooklyn (94-63) ... They have losses to Sacred Heart (89-86), Dartmouth (80-75 OT), Jacksonville (80-78) and Merrimack (60-58).
- Guard and Radford transfer Christian Lutete leads the River Hawks at 19.4 ppg and 8.3 rpg with fellow guard Obadiah Noel also averaging double figures in scoring at 15.6 ppg alongside 5.3 rpg.
- The River Hawks are averaging five more made free throws per game than opponents.
- UML is averaging 75.5 ppg and 45.9 FG% while holding opponents to 70.5 ppg and 42.9 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY
