The Boston University men's lacrosse team will host Bryant on Tuesday afternoon at Nickerson Field. Originally scheduled for 7 p.m., Tuesday's tilt will now take place at 4 p.m.

HOME SWEET HOME

  • BU is 6-0 against non-conference opponents at Nickerson Field dating back to the start of 2017.
  • The Terriers won their home opener against Dartmouth on Feb. 16, earning a 15-8 victory.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS

  • Bryant improved to 2-1 after a 6-5 home win over Dartmouth on Saturday.
  • The Bulldogs also beat Providence, 11-8, on Feb. 16 to bounce back from a 9-6 loss at Bucknell on Feb. 10.
  • Marc O'Rourke leads the Bulldogs in goals (7), assists (5) and points (12).
  • Jack Aigner has won 29 of the 55 faceoffs he has taken (52.7%) and leads Bryant with 15 ground balls.
  • Jake Fiske leads the Bulldogs with four caused turnovers and is second with seven ground balls.
  • Kevin Beimfohr, who stopped five shots in last year's BU-Bryant contest, made 14 saves in his 2019 debut on Saturday, a 6-5 win over Dartmouth.
  • Luke Caracciolo had started the first two games in the cage, making 16 saves at Bucknell and 15 stops against Providence.
  • Caracciolo owns a .646 save percentage and an 8.50 goals-against average in two starts.

HISTORY WITH BRYANT

  • This is the third straight year that BU and Bryant will meet.
  • BU won the first game at Nickerson Field in 2017, defeating the Bulldogs, 12-9.
  • The Terriers earned an 8-7 overtime win in Smithfield, R.I., last season.

LAST TIME AGAINST BRYANT

  • BU scored 27 seconds into overtime to earn an 8-7 victory at Bryant on Feb. 27, 2018.
  • Sean Christman won the opening faceoff in OT to set up the game-winning possession.
  • Chris Gray led the Terriers with four assists, including helpers the final two goals of the game, while James Burr twice found the back of the net.
  • Brendan Homire also added an assist.
  • Joe McSorley made 13 saves 
  • BU held Marc O'Rourke to zero points while forcing him to turn the ball over three times.

BEST OF BU AGAINST THE BULLDOGS

  • James Burr has notched four goals and added one assist in two games against the Bulldogs.
  • Chris Gray recorded four assists in last year's win while Brendan Homire also had a helper.
  • Drew Lukacs and Thomas Schmidt both scored in the 2017 triumph.
  • Lukacs has also recorded four ground balls against Bryant.
