BOSTON – After posting a perfect 5-0 record during its most recent homestand, the Boston University softball team will head to Lehigh for a Patriot League weekend series starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at 12 p.m. The teams will meet a third time on Sunday at 12 p.m.
All three games will be broadcasted on the Patriot League Network. The teams will meet for the first time since the Terriers blanked the Mountain Hawks, 8-0(5), in the 2018 conference title game at home. Lehigh won the 2017 title game against BU, 4-3, at Leadership Park.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is 6-0 at home following Wednesday's 3-2 win over Boston College and last weekend's three-game sweep against Holy Cross ... The Terriers though are 0-6 in true road games with most recently 3-1 loss at Cal State Fullerton on March 14 and a notable 4-2 loss at No. 14 Arkansas.

- In the circle, sophomore Ali DuBois (13-6, 1.49 ERA) owns 120 strikeouts in 112.2 innings while holding opponents to a .224 batting average ... Freshman Emily Gant (4-7, 2.16 ERA) has posted 95 strikeouts in 81.0 innings with opponents hitting .236.
SCOUTING LEHIGH
- The Mountain Hawks are wrapping up a 10-game homestand following a doubleheader split against Saint Joseph's (6-1, 5-6) on Wednesday ... Lehigh also had a split against Kent State (5-2, 0-5).
- The Mountain Hawks are 3-3 in conference play with a three-game sweep at Lafayette (6-0, 4-1, 4-3) and three-game loss at home to Bucknell (2-0, 14-3, 8-3).
- Lehigh is batting .281 while holding teams to .281 ... Opponents own a 27-9 advantage in homers and 46-33 lead in doubles.
- Jaelynn Chesson leads the team at .419 with nine doubles, four homers, 16 RBIs and 14 runs scored, while Mary-Hannah Smith (.354) owns 13 RBIs and eight doubles.
- 2018 All-PL Second Team honoree Parker Boyd (6-7, 3.54 ERA) owns 82 strikeouts in 83.0 innings while holding teams to .278 ... Gabriella Nori (4-9, 4.94 ERA) has 78 strikeouts in 72.1 innings with opponents batting .267.
SERIES HISTORY
- The teams are tied, 11-11, in a series that dates back to 1996 ... BU won the first two meetings in 1996 in the NCAA Play-In Round.
