BOSTON – Riding a five-game home win streak, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Army West Point on Saturday with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- Having won five of its last six games, BU ranks 37th nationally in turnovers per game (11.8) after committing a season-low seven miscues in Wednesday's 84-67 home win over Lehigh.
- Senior Max Mahoney (15.6 ppg, 7.8 rpg) made his 100th career appearance a memorable one with 23 points, career-high 15 rebounds, personal-best six assists and two steals against the Mountain Hawks.
- Sophomore Walter Whyte remains second on the team in both points (12.8 ppg) and rebounding (6.4 rpg).
- Besides owning a team-high 3.2 apg, junior Javante McCoy (10.0 ppg) is averaging 14.0 ppg in conference play.

- Army shared two non-conference opponents with the Terriers, dropping an 88-73 decision at Binghamton before falling at Merrimack, 69-60 ... BU fell in OT to the Bearcats before coming back with a 69-67 victory over the Warriors.
- 5-foot-11 guard Tommy Funk leads the PL at 6.4 apg while averaging 14.4 ppg.
- 6-foot-9 center Matt Wilson leads the PL at 8.3 rpg while averaging 13.9 ppg.
- Army is averaging 68.5 ppg and 46.5 FG% while holding teams to 72.0 ppg and 43.1 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY
- BU leads the all-time series, 17-11, that dates back to 1954-55.
- Army won both meetings last season with 86-82 road win and then 71-61 home victory.
