BOSTON – Riding a season-high four-game win streak, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit American on Sunday with tip-off slated for 3 p.m.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- The Terriers have won three of their last four games by a combined five points with come-from-behind wins over Lafayette and Merrimack ... They trailed by 14 this past Thursday against the Leopards and triumphed for the first time this season when posting a smaller field goal shooting percentage.
- Senior Max Mahoney (15.9 ppg, 7.4 rpg) had a game-high 20 points and nine rebounds vs. Lafayette and is averaging 20.5 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 67.8 FG% over the last eight games.
- Sophomore Jonas Harper (7.4 ppg) hit a season-tying four 3-pointers on Thursday and is three total behind classmate Walter Whyte who is second on the team in both scoring (12.9 ppg) and rebounding (6.3 rpg).
- Junior Javante McCoy (9.2 ppg) has tallied 10+ points four times in the last six games after hitting the mark twice in the first eight games of the year.
