The Boston University women's ice hockey team will host Vermont on Friday night at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m.

- BU went 1-1 during last weekend's road trip, falling to RPI, 4-2, before bouncing back with a 4-1 win at Union the next day.
- Junior Nadia Mattivi was named Hockey East Defender of the Week after assisting on senior Courtney Correia's game-winning shorthanded goal in addition to blocking four shots.Â
- Correia leads Hockey East with 11 points thanks to five assists and a team-high six goals.
- Junior Julia Nearis and senior Mackenna Parker are tied for the league lead in assists with six apiece.
- Nearis is second on the squad with 10 points and is on an 11-game point streak that dates back to the final game of the 2019-20 season.
- BU went 6-for-6 on the penalty kill in the 4-1 victory at Union.
HISTORY WITH VERMONT
- Friday will be the fourth straight time that BU and Vermont have skated at Walter Brown.
- The Terriers are 36-9-7 all-time against the Catamounts, including a 20-4-5 record at Walter Brown.
- BU has taken five of the last six meetings with the Catamounts and is 6-1-1 in its last eight games against Vermont.
- The Terriers have lost two straight games against UVM just once in their 16 seasons as a varsity program.
SCOUTING THE CATAMOUNTS
- Vermont won both of its games last weekend to improve to 4-2-0 on the year, defeating Holy Cross (4-2) and Merrimack (2-1) at home.
- The Catamounts' two losses were to nationally ranked Colgate.
- Sophomore Natalie Mlynkova leads Vermont in goals (3), assists (4) and points (7).
- Nine different Catamounts have at least two points, though senior Kristina Shanahan is the only Vermont skater other than Mlynkova with multiple goals.
- Blanka Škodová has appeared in all six games, having started each of the last five.
- She is 4-2-0 with a 2.50 goals-against average and an .895 save percentage.
