The Terriers' 14-game schedule features six non-conference contests, including first-time matchups against UMass, Yale and Princeton. BU will face five different teams that advanced to the NCAA Tournament in either 2021 or 2019.
BU will open the 2022 campaign with a three-game homestand that begins on Feb. 12 against Merrimack. The Terriers will then host Bryant on Feb. 19 and UMass on Feb. 26.
Patriot League play gets underway on March 5 when the Terriers trek to Colgate. They will then return home to face Bucknell on March 12 before a short trip to Holy Cross on March 19.
For the first time since 2019, BU and Harvard will renew their rivalry when the Terriers cross the Charles River to face the Crimson on March 22. They will then host Lafayette (March 26) and Navy (April 2) before wrapping up the non-conference schedule against Yale (April 5) and Princeton (April 9), two teams that finished the shortened 2020 season in the top five of the Inside Lacrosse media poll.
BU will travel to Loyola Maryland (April 16) and Lehigh (April 23) before hosting Army West Point in the regular-season finale on April 29. The Patriot League Tournament will begin on May 3, with championship weekend scheduled for May 6-8.
Playing in the program's ninth season, the Terriers will look to earn their fifth straight Patriot League Tournament berth in 2022.
