Softball Leads Patriot League with 17 Academic Honor Roll Members

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After claiming a third straight Patriot League title, the Boston University softball team led all conference members with 17 student-athletes on this year's Patriot League Academic Honor Roll, the conference announced Monday morning.

BU finished ahead of Bucknell (15) with Lafayette and Lehigh both recording 13 honorees apiece. To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.

Juniors Nicole Amodio (health science) and Aliyah Huerta-Leipner (business administration & management) both posted a 4.00 GPA with fellow classmate Emily Gant (health science) and senior Jen Horita (business administration & management) close behind at 3.93.
