BOSTON – Hitting the road for the fourth time in six contests, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit Loyola Maryland on Wednesday night with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

The Terriers enter the matchup looking to snap a two-game losing streak following Saturday's 72-65 defeat to Navy, while the Greyhounds are riding a five-game win streak after posting a 69-57 victory at Lehigh.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • Graduate student Sukhmail Mathon is currently averaging a double-double at 14.6 ppg and 10.0 rpg after collecting his eighth double-double of the season against the Midshipmen with a career-high 24 points alongside 14 boards. Those numbers increase to 18.2 ppg and 11.2 rpg in conference play.
  • Graduate student Javante McCoy leads the Terriers at 17.0 ppg, while senior Walter Whyte is averaging 12.9 ppg and 6.2 rpg.
  • Having only played in 10 games this season due to injury, junior Ethan Brittain-Watts (4.5 ppg) became the ninth Terrier to score in double figures this season with a personal-best 11 points against Navy.
  • BU is 6-5 away from Case Gym this season and is 1-2 in conference games with a 79-53 win at American.

  • The Greyhounds are a perfect  7-0 at home with PL wins vs. Lafayette (74-60), Bucknell (71-67) and Holy Cross (79-70). 
  • Cam Spencer (19.1 ppg, 4.8 apg, 3.7 apg) averaged 22.0 ppg, 5.0 rpg and 3.3 apg in three wins to claim Patriot League Player of the Week honors.
  • Jaylin Andrews averages 15.1 ppg with Kenneth Jones (8.4 ppg) directing the offense on a team-high 5.2 apg.
  • Both Andrews and Spencer are averaging a combined 4.1 spg, while Golden Dike owns a team-high 6.8 rpg. 
  • Loyola averages 69.5 ppg and 45.2 FG% while holding opponents to 66.2 ppg and 42.3 FG%.
SERIES HISTORY
  • BU owns a 13-7 advantage in the all-time series after dropping a 66-58 decision at home back on Jan. 7.
  • The Greyhounds won wire-to-wire, leading by as many as 13 and finishing the game on an 8-2 run over the final 2:37.
