Oldham Earns Patriot League Defensive Player Of The Week Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the second time this season, Boston University women's soccer redshirt senior Jenna Oldham was selected as the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Oldham earns the honor after garnering recognition back on Sept. 19. It is her fourth-career weekly award, and the 10th given to a Terrier this year.
The redshirt senior registered a goal and an assist in BU's 3-1 triumph at Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Oct. 22). She fed sophomore Morgan Fagan for what proved to be the game-winning score in the 52nd minute. Later, she tallied an insurance goal with a 20-yard free kick in the 68th minute.
Oldham, the league's reigning Defensive Player of the Year, has two goals and an assist for five points this year, with both scores coming in her last three appearances. She is one of two Patriot League student-athletes to receive multiple Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week awards in 2022.
BU hosts Army West Point on Wednesday (Oct. 26) in the teams' regular season finale. Opening kick is scheduled for 7 p.m.
