Women’s Soccer Ignites PL Play Against Navy on Alumni Day

BOSTON – The Boston University women's soccer program is set to start its 14th Patriot League regular season slate as a conference member on Saturday, Sept. 19 as Navy comes to town for the league lidlifter. Opening kick from Nickerson Field is set for 12 p.m.
BU (3-5-1) hosts its first match since Sept. 6 following a two-game road swing. The Terriers are 1-2-1 at Nickerson Field this season.
Navy (7-3-1) also competes in its first conference contest on the campaign. The Midshipmen are 3-1-1 on the road and are playing in their fifth-straight away game.
Saturday's match airs on ESPN+ at the top of the hour with Katie Bennert, Zach Austin and Sophia Azzano on the call. Live statistics and an audio-only broadcast are available on GoTerriers.com while the Patriot League provides an international stream.
The match also serves as the program's annual Alumni Day. Terrier graduates ranging from the classes of 2004 to 2026 will return to campus. A beer garden for fans 21 years or older will also open during the game.
