The No. 11/9 Boston University men's ice hockey team will continue Hockey East play this weekend when the Terriers face No. 18/16 Northeastern in a home-and-home series that begins Friday night at Agganis Arena and concludes Saturday night at Matthews Arena.

TERRIER TIDBITS

• BU enters the weekend having swept then-No. 11/10 UMass in decisive fashion, earning a 7-2 road win and a 5-1 home win.
• Freshman Ryan Greene was named Hockey East Player of the Week after he totaled six points (3g, 3a) in two games, including two goals and three assists in the win at UMass.
• No other Hockey East freshman has more points (11) than Greene, who has totaled five goals and six assists this season.
• Senior Matt Brown leads BU in goals (5), assists (8) and points (13) thanks to a three-point weekend against the Minutemen.
• The line of Greene, classmate Quinn Hutson (2g, 2a) and junior Luke Tuch (3a) combined for 13 points (5g, 8a) last weekend.
• Junior Drew Commesso stopped 50 of the 53 shots he faced against UMass and allowed just one even-strength goal.
• Through seven games this season, 17 different Terriers have scored a goal and 18 different BU skaters have registered a point.
• All 18 of those Terriers have notched multiple points.
• BU boasts the fourth-ranked offense in the country, averaging 4.0 goals per game.

SERIES HISTORY

• This will be the 246th meeting between the Terriers and Huskies since they first met during the 1930-31 season.
• The only team BU has played more games against is Boston College (287).
• BU holds a 168-65-12 (.709) advantage over the Huskies, including a 16-9-2 (.629) record at Agganis and an 80-30-7 mark at Matthews Arena.
• In the 11 meetings that have taken place since the start of the 2018-19 season, six have gone to overtime, including both league contests last year.
• The two teams have played 32 overtime games in the all-time series, and BU holds a 12-8-12 edge.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES

• Northeastern enters Friday having taken just two of six points against Boston College last weekend, rallying for a 4-4 tie and a shootout win at home before suffering a 3-2 road setback the next day.
• Senior Aidan McDonough leads Hockey East with 16 points on seven goals and nine assists, but he is suspended for Friday's game, as is senior defenseman Jayden Struble.
• Sophomore Justin Hyrckowian (8g, 6a) and junior Gunnarwolfe Fontaine (4g, 10a) are tied for second in Hockey East with 14 points.
• Hyrckowian leads NU in goals while Fontaine is the team's assist leader.
• Junior Devon Levi has started 11 of the Huskies' 12 games, posting a 6-3-2 record.
• Levi, who has recorded two shutouts, owns a 1.88 goals-against average and a .941 save percentage.
