
No. 9/7 Terriers Trek to UNH Friday to Begin Home-and-Home Series

SATURDAY PARKING ADVISORY
The No. 9/7 Boston University men's ice hockey team will continue Hockey East play this weekend when the Terriers face New Hampshire in a home-and-home series that begins Friday at Whittemore Center (7 p.m.). The two teams will then face off at Agganis Arena on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Friday's tilt will be televised live on NESN+. Additionally, both games will be streamed on ESPN+, with an audio-only broadcast of both contests located here. Fans can purchase tickets for Saturday's contest by clicking here. Please note that Saturday's game is scheduled for 6 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- Not counting last weekend's exhibition contest against the U.S. Under-18 Team, BU enters the weekend having won two straight games, including a 5-2 victory over No. 19 Notre Dame on Wednesday at Agganis.
- Freshman Lane Hutson, the reigning Hockey East Player of the Week, scored two goals while seniors Matt Brown, Domenick Fensore and Sam Stevens all lit the lamp.
- Brown assisted on both of Hutson's markers to complete a three-point night.
- Seniors Jamie Armstrong, Case McCarthy, Jay O'Brien and Wilmer Skoog each recorded an assist, as did junior Luke Tuch and freshman Jeremy Wilmer.
- Junior Drew Commesso made 26 saves to improve to 6-2-0 on the season.
- This weekend's series against UNH will be the Terriers' first two games against an unranked opponent since their season-opening victory over Bentley on Oct. 1.
- Seven of the Terriers' eight wins this season have been against ranked foes.
- The Terriers outshot Notre Dame, 43-28, marking the fourth time in the last five games that they have generated over 40 shots on goal.
- BU is averaging 41.2 shots on goal in those five contests en route to a 4-1-0 record.
- Overall, the Terriers average 36.3 shots on goal per game, which ranks second in the country and first in Hockey East.
- During it's 4-1-0 run in November, BU allowed just 2.0 goals per game.
- Hutson has tallied three game-winning goals this season, including each of the last two.
- Both Hutson (3g, 1a) and Brown (2g, 2a) have tallied four points over the last two games.
- Brown leads BU in goals (7), assists (10) and points (17), matching his goal, assist and point totals from last season.
- Fensore has found the back of the net in two straight tilts while Wilmer has secured an assist in two consecutive contests.
- Commesso owns a .949 save percentage at home this season.
- BU is 12-4-2 in its last 18 games at Agganis Arena, with three of the four losses coming in overtime.
- New Hampshire began the season 2-0-0 and was 3-2-0 through its first five games, but the Wildcats have lost eight straight games and are winless in their last 10 contests.
- Three of the Wildcats' last five losses have only been by one goal, including a 3-2 overtime defeat at Holy Cross on Nov. 26.
- UNH is 1-4-1 at Whittemore Center this season.
- Sophomore defenseman Colton Huard leads New Hampshire with nine points thanks to a team-high eight assists.
- Freshman forward Cy LeClerc is the team's top goal scorer with five goals and is second on the squad with eight points.
- Senior goaltender David Fessenden has started nine of the 11 games he has played, posting a 2.82 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage en route to a 2-7-0 record.
- Freshman Tyler Muszelik has made six starts, going 1-4-1 with a 3.53 goals-against average and an .867 save percentage.
- BU will play its final two games of the first semester outside of Boston, beginning on Friday, Dec. 9, when the Terriers travel to Chestnut Hill for the 288th edition of the Battle of Comm. Ave. against Boston College.
- The game will be televised live on ESPNEWS as well as streamed on ESPN+, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m.
