AMHERST, Mass. - The Boston University women's lacrosse team dropped a 21-6 road contest against Massachusetts on Saturday at Garber Field.
Junior
Lauren Kaye recorded her third-career hat trick while senior
Caroline Pinho, junior
Claire Gola and freshman
Hannah Tillier all found the back of the net.
Junior
Jennifer Barry tallied a season-high 13 draw controls, while sophomore

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After the Minutewomen scored the first eight goals of the game, Pinho got the Terriers on the board with an unassisted tally.
- BU cut the deficit to 10-4 thanks to three-straight goals from the midpoint of the second quarter to the 56-second mark.
- In that span, Kaye scored twice, sandwiching a Gola goal off a pass from redshirt junior Teagan Lucchese.
- With 5:42 remaining in the third, Kaye finished off the hat trick, beating UMass goalie Gina Carroll.
- Tillier took a pass from sophomore Tobey Tick and buried it into the nylon with 1:38 left in the game to wrap up the scoring for BU.
