HOW IT HAPPENED
- Coker singled through the right side and moved to third on a pair of wild pitches.
- Senior Nicole Amodio joined her in scoring position on a walk and stolen base.
- Gant followed with an infield single toward first that saw the fielder try to dive at the bag in time for the force, which allowed both Coker and Amodio to score.
- LBSU took advantage of a fielding error in the bottom of the first with a pair of singles to cut BU's lead in half.
- The Terriers came right back with two more runs in the fourth, as junior Audrey Sellers scored on a fielding error and Coker reached home on Roncin's two-RBI double to left.
- Roncin extended the lead to 7-1 in the fourth by plating two on a single up the middle and then scoring on Amodio's RBI single to right center.
- Trying to mount a rally, LBSU loaded the bases on two singles and an error but managed just one RBI single before grounding out.
- Boaz sealed the win with a pair of ground outs and swinging strikeout.
