- BU ended the first frame on a 14-2 run to increase its lead to 24-10.

- Giannaros drained a contested layup on the right block to stop BU's scoring drought, but the Black Knights registered another 6-0 run to get within 33-27.
- Weimar delivered three consecutive layups, but her last basket was the lone BU score in a 12-2 Black Knight burst that briefly gave the visitors a one-point lead.
- Childs delivered a turnaround floater with 2.8 seconds on the clock that gave her 10 points and put BU on top 41-40 at halftime.

- Weimar and Fallon traded buckets, then Johnson picked off a Lauren Lithgow pass and later sank a layup for a 72-66 Terrier lead as the clock read 3:30.
- Pina drilled her third triple of the night off a dish from Johnson with 2:18 remaining, providing a 75-68 cushion.
- The Black Knights were awarded four free throws after two fouls, but only sank two. Fallon would drill a three, however, to make it 75-73 with 46 seconds left.
- BU went 5-for-8 from the foul line from there, with Johnson making four. Fallon, Murray, and Hope Brown were unsuccessful on three-point tries in that span.
