Men's Basketball to Host Lafayette Thursday Night at The Roof

BOSTON – Hosting its first game of 2023, the Boston University men's basketball team will welcome Lafayette to Case Gym on Thursday night with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

The Terriers opened the new year this past Monday with a 69-61 come-from-behind win at Bucknell, while the Leopards dropped an 82-65 home decision to Army West Point.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • BU is 4-1 at The Roof this season with wins over Northeastern, Dartmouth, Hartford and Johnson & Wales alongside a conference-opening loss to Navy.
  • Just 45 points away from the 1,500-point milestone and 64 rebounds away from 800 total, Whyte is averaging a team-high 14.5 ppg and 6.2 rpg.

  • Lafayette has close losses against Penn (74-68 OT), Saint Joseph's (63-59) and Cornell (73-68).
  • Leo O'Boyle (11.6 ppg), Kyle Jenkins (11.5 ppg) and CJ Fulton (11.0 ppg) are all scoring in double figures with Fulton owning a team-high 5.4 rpg.
  • The Leopards are averaging 61.1 ppg and 40.5 FG% while holding opponents to 68.3 ppg and 45.5 FG%.
