HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Boston University men's cross country team placed third in the 8K at the Patriot League Championships on Saturday.Â

BU scored 56 points in total and finished just six points back of Army West Point in second. Navy won the championship with 37 points.
Sophomore
Parker Schneider led BU with a fourth-place finish in 24:55.5 over the 8K. Senior
Robert Hannon also cracked the top-10, placing ninth with a time of 25:10.6. Sophomore
Freddy Collins (25:12.7) came home 10th, senior
Matthew Mason (25:22.1) finished 13th and grad student
Foster Malleck (25:33.7) placed 20th.

Schneider received First Team All-Patriot League distinction while Hannon, Collins and Mason received Second Team accolades. Mason's All-PL selection is the fourth of his career, making him just the ninth runner in league history to make an All-PL team four times.
