Rowing Programs Cap Fall with Foot Of The Charles

BOSTON – The Boston University rowing programs closed out their fall campaigns with the 2023 edition of the Foot of the Charles on Saturday (Nov. 11) on the Charles River.
 
The BU men's rowing program faced off against crews from Northeastern and Harvard's lightweights, with the Terriers' top boat finishing fourth out of 11 total crews. The crew finished in a time of 12:24.27. The Huskies were first and second in the event.
 
The Terriers' "B" crew was right behind the "A" squad in fifth at 12:28.96. BU's "C" and "D" boats were seventh and eighth, respectively.
 
BU's openweight and lightweight women's teams competed against Northeastern, Harvard-Radcliffe, Brown, Boston College, and Rhode Island. The top crew for the openweights was third in the event, finishing in a time of 14:22.4. BU's top lightweight boat was right behind in 14:41.6 for a fourth-place results.
 
In the women's races, Northeastern and Radcliffe were first and second, respectively.
