Hutson Named Hockey East Player of the Week

Hutson was terrific in a weekend sweep of UMass Lowell, recording four goals and one assist for five points. After lighting the lamp in the third period of Friday's 3-2 victory, he notched a hat trick and one assist for a career-best four points in Saturday's 6-1 triumph at Agganis Arena. Hutson was an impressive plus-5 on the weekend.Saturday's hat trick was the first of his collegiate career.
A native of North Barrington, Illinois, Hutson is tied for seventh in Hockey East with five goals and he has also recorded three assists for eight total points. He has been fantastic for the Terriers in 49 career games at BU, scoring 20 goals and adding 16 assists for 36 points. On Saturday, he recorded his eighth career game-winning goal. He is the second Hutson in consecutive weekends to record a hat trick and be named Hockey East Player of the Week, as brother Lane notched a hat trick on Nov. 4 against North Dakota en route to claiming the weekly honor on Nov. 6.
