BOSTON - Highlighted by four games against 2023 NCAA Tournament teams, including a trip to national runner-up Duke, the Boston University men's lacrosse team announced its 2024 schedule on Monday.
Head coach Ryan Polley and his squad will play seven of their 14 games at Nickerson Field during the program's 11th season. Fans can purchase season tickets for both men's and women's lacrosse by clicking here. Six of the Terriers' opponents in 2024 have made an NCAA Tournament appearance in the last two years.
BU will open the year with a neutral-site contest against reigning Atlantic 10 regular-season champion Saint Joseph's. That game will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 6, in Westport, Connecticut. The Terriers will then play four of their next five games at Nickerson, beginning with their home opener against reigning America East regular-season champion Vermont on Feb. 10. BU will then welcome America East tournament champion Bryant to Boston on Feb. 16 before traveling to Providence to face Brown on Feb. 20.
The Terriers will open Patriot League play on March 2 when they host Navy. After a home date with Bucknell on March 9, BU will trek to Loyola Maryland on March 16 before hosting defending league tournament champion Army West Point on March 22.
Following their trip to Duke on March 26, the Terriers will play their next three games in Massachusetts, starting with a Turnpike Trophy matchup at Holy Cross on March 30. BU will then host Yale on April 9 before welcoming Lafayette to Nickerson on April 13 in the final regular-season home game of the season. The Terriers will close out the regular season with trips to Lehigh (April 20) and Colgate (April 26).
Six 2023 All-Patriot League honorees return for the Terriers in 2024, including All-Americans Vince D'Alto and Roy Meyer, as well as First Team All-PL selections Patrick Morrison and Louis Perfetto.
