Terriers Etch Four Top-10 Program Marks at Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener

December 2, 2023

BOSTON – The Boston University track & field teams opened their seasons at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Saturday at the Track & Tennis Center.

New Season, New Records
  • Sophomore Parker Schneider led BU's performances in the season-opening meet by breaking the school record with a 3:56.67 in the mile. He is the fourth Terrier in program history to run a sub-four minute mile and surpassed Rich Peters' 2014 record of 3:57.27. The Durand, Wis., native is just the second current Terrier to break the four-minute barrier after grad student Foster Malleck did so last season.
