BOSTON – Riding a five-game home win streak, the Boston University men's basketball team will welcome former America East rival Maine to Case Gym on Wednesday night with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early for the Raising Cane's tailgate, as the Terriers and Black Bears for the 103rd time since the series began in 1902-03.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is coming off a 70-49 victory at preseason NEC favorite Sacred Heart in which the Terriers utilized a 23-3 second-half run to win the first-ever meeting with the Pioneers.
- The Terriers are 2-0 at home this year with 95-79 victory against another America East opponent in Bryant and 90-49 win vs. VTSU-Johnson.
- Through eight contests, 10 Terriers have already scored in double-digits.
- Senior Miles Brewster leads BU at 9.1 ppg with 2.7 apg and 1.3 spg, while freshman Kyrone Alexander is second in points at 9.0 ppg with the two men comining for 21 of the Terriers' 68 3-pointers.

- Coming off a 60-49 victory vs. Brown, the Black Bears own a NET ranking of 198, four spots ahead of the Terriers, with a 70-59 win at South Florida and 72-57 victory at Holy Cross.
- Kellen Tynes is one of three Black Bears in double figures at 13.9 ppg with 4.1 apg and 2.0 spg.
- Peter Filipovity is averaging 12.4 ppg, just ahead of AJ Lopez's 12.2 ppg while adding 6.3 rpg and 1.5 spg.
- Maine is averaging 70.2 ppg and 47.0 FG% while holding opponents to 63.70 (38th best mark nationally) and 42.1 FG%. Both the Black Bears and opponents are shooting under 30.4 percent from behind the arc, combining for just 11 made 3-pointers a game.
