BOSTON - Senior
Maren Durant and
Caitlin Weimar each posted double-doubles, seniors
Maggie Pina and
Liz Shean also scored in double figures, and the Boston University women's basketball program celebrated its seniors with an 83-54 win over Lafayette on Senior Day at Case Gym.
After missing eight of its first 10 shots, BU (18-6, 13-0 PL) shot nearly 52 percent of the field the rest of the way, trailing for only 3:09 during the game against a short-handed Leopards (8-15, 5-8 PL) team that only played six student-athletes.
With the victory, the Terriers have set a new single-season program record with 13 Patriot League wins. BU's 18 wins this year match the 2019-20 squad for the most since joining the league ahead of the 2013-14 campaign.

Pina made four three-pointers en route to 19 points and five assists. Shean flirted with her own double-double with 12 points and eight boards.
Makayla Andrews scored 21 points on 21 shots to lead Lafayette, while Halee Smith and Sauda Ntaconayigize each collected 10 points.
