BU outshot Iona 30-16 and registers 21 draw controls to Iona's six. With the win, the Terriers have held all three of their opponents this season to less than 10 goals in a single game.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Iona got on the board first with goals at the 11:54 and 9:58 marks in the opening quarter.
- Kaye found the back of the net with 8:42 to go in the first and was set up by a pass from Sophomore Hannah Tillier.
- A little over four minutes later, Spaeth tied the game 2-2 with her fourth goal of the season.
- Iona quickly took the lead again two minutes later and led 3-2 by the end of the first quarter.
- BU found its groove in the second quarter and went on to score five unanswered goals.
- Just 55 seconds into the quarter, Feeney scored to tie the game at 3-3.
- After Iona received a yellow card, MacMaster scored on the woman-up advantage to give BU the lead and the game-winner. Tick logged an assist on the goal.
- MacMaster followed that up 53 seconds later to help BU lead 5-3 with 10 minutes to go.
- With help from Gola, Tick found the back of the net with a goal of her own slightly over a minute later.
- BU's final goal of the unanswered stretch came from MacMaster with a pass from Tillier at 6:16.
- Iona then scored at 5:18 off the free position.
- Cotraro scored her first goal of the game with help from MacMaster to help BU lead 8-4 headed into the half.
- After a quiet opening two minutes of the second half, Gola scored at 13:55 with help from Tillier.
- Cotraro took a free position shot at 12:39 and scored to put BU into double digits.
- The Gaels answered with a goal of their own but BU was quick to respond, scoring just over a minute later. Cotraro, helped by Tillier, completed a hat trick and BU led 11-5.
- MacMaster scored once more under the 10-minute mark for her ninth goal of the season.
- After a fight through defenders to the net, Tick logged her second goal of the game and closed out the scoring for the quarter at the 7:24 mark.
- In the final quarter, Gola logged a free position goal at 13:29 to give BU its 14th and final goal of the game.
- Iona fought to the end and added four goals in the final stanza but could not catch up to BU, making the final score BU 14, Iona 9.

GAME NOTES
- BU made 15 attempts to clear and were successful on all of them while Iona went 16-for-22.
- MacMaster led the Terriers in points with five thanks to four goals and one assist.
- Tillier was the only one to log multiple assists with four.
- Gola was the leader for the Terriers in ground balls as she scooped up five. She also led in caused turnovers with four.
- Senior Jennifer Barry led in draw controls with seven on the day. This brings her season total to 30.
- Barry and MacMaster now lead the Terriers with 12 points each. Gola is just behind the pair with 11 of her own.
- Feeney is the lone freshman to score this season and has scored in all three of BU's games so far.
- Agres made seven saves in net, tying her season high which was set in the season opener against Merrimack.

- BU will take a trip to South Carolina to face Wofford on Friday (Feb. 24). The opening draw with the Terriers is set for 2 p.m.
