  • Both BU and Loyola played a strong defensive game for most of the opening frame as no goals were scored until 3:00 remaining in the first.

  • With 26 seconds to go in the half, Sims found Gola who scored to give BU its first goal of the game and closed out scoring for the half.
  • The action was slow to start in the third quarter until Loyola netted its 10th goal at the 7:26 mark.
  • Despite some strong chances from BU, the Greyhounds controlled the scoring for the rest of the game and scored five times through two quarters to bring the final score to Loyola 15, BU 1.
