Coach Quotables

Coach Carpenter on the Wake Forest Invitational

We made the trip down to Wake Forest with a purpose – to run fast and hopefully pick up some NCAA regional qualifiers along the way. We saw a number of top-10 all-time marks set and in doing so, Foster Malleck and Vera Sjöberg ran times that should lock them into the NCAA first round championship next month. Parker Schneider and Veronica Kriss also set top marks with Parker running one of the fastest times for a freshman in all of the NCAA in the 1,500m and Veronica setting the second-best 10K time in the PL this year behind only Daisy's mark from the Raleigh Relays. We'll look to carry this momentum as a group as we start to gear up for the championship season ahead.
