BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior Robert Hannon of Boston University men's cross country has been named the Patriot League Male Runner of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. 
 
Hannon finished second at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational where he led the Terriers to their first-place team finish in the men's 8K. 
 
The Point Pleasant Beach, N.J., native recorded a personal record of 24:14.53, shaving off 83 seconds from his previous best in the event. This also came in his first cross country race in almost two years. 
 
The Terriers will be back in action when they head to Bethlehem, Pa., for the Paul Short Invite on September 30.
