Jaiden Schultz has been tabbed as the Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the week of Oct. 7, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Schultz captures her first-career Patriot League weekly award, and is the first Terrier since teammate
Kat Slott on Sept. 25, 2023 to be named Rookie of the Week. Overall, she is the third-different Terrier to win a weekly award this year, with her accolade being the fourth overall.
The West Orange, N.J. native supplied the scoring in BU's 1-1 draw against Navy on Oct. 5. In the 33rd minute, she passed off to classmate
Juliana Osterman in the left corner, and finished her cross with her right leg later in the play to help the Terriers remain unbeaten in Patriot League play.
Schultz joins sophomore
Kaiya Stewart as the two Terriers to pot their first-career goals in 2024. On the campaign, the West Orange product has started in 10 of her 13 appearances this year, tallying three points.
BU (2-7-4, 2-0-2 PL) returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 12), visiting Lafayette. Opening kick is set for 1 p.m.
